How do I join the waitlist?
Our waitlist is now run through the Qikkids website. By clicking the "Booking Request" link on our website, you will be taken to a page which requires you to register for a My Family Lounge account. Through this account you can adjust and update your waitlist application as required. This is also the account in which you will be offered and accept placement at our centre.
Is there a fee to join the waitlist?
No, there is no fee required to join the waitlist.
Can I visit the centre before I join the wait-list?
Of course, we encourage you to visit our friendly team here at Rainbow before placing your name down on the waitlist. Please call us on 9971-7100 to discuss the perfect time to visit.
How early should I waitlist my child?
It is best to place your name on the waitlist as early as possible. Your child does not need to be a certain age to be placed on the waitlist.
Is there a minimum number of days required for enrolment?
We suggest the minimum enrolment to be 2 days a week, as we feel any less than this can be unsettling for your child and find children settle in to the centre easier when attending more than one day a week. These days do not have to be consecutive or set days, you may choose the days that suit you as long as they are available.
How much are the daily fees at Rainbow?
Rainbow fees are $96 per day before the Child Care Subsidy. This fee is standard across Rainbow Child Care Centre for 3-6 year olds. This fee is correct as of February 2019, however is subject to change so please check with staff at the centre for any changes.
Are their any other costs involved?
When offered a placement at Rainbow we require a $400 bond payment which we be refunded at the end of your child's Rainbow adventure. We also require a $140 admin payment which also includes a "Rainbow pack" filled with drink bottle, hat, sunscreen and other Rainbow goodies.
How do I pay fees, as well as the bond and admin payments required at Rainbow?
Rainbow Child Care Centre has eftpos facilities on site for easy payments over the phone or in person. You may also pay fees, bond and admin via direct deposit with the bank details provided to you on either the Letter of Offer or your monthly fee statement.
